Chichester Cheese & Chilli Fetsival

The Cheese & Chilli Festival offers a fantastic family friendly, fun-filled event.
Spicing things up with all things cheese and chilli, the event will see a whole host of tasty treats, amazing entertainment and food competitions for those that can handle the heat.

What’s more the festival will be supporting worthwhile charities, with a team raising funds throughout the two-day show.

Activities include:

Cheese & Chilli Tastings
The Cheese Festival is the perfect event for cheese lovers who can try and buy from an incredible range of local and regional products. Meanwhile for those who enjoy a slice of spice, The Chilli Festival features different types to peruse and purchase, with everything from plants to sauces.
Brave visitors can test their taste buds during a Chilli Eating Competition that isn't for the faint hearted and is set to deliver some hilarious entertainment.

Chilli Eating Competition
The Chilli Eating Competition takes place each day at around 4pm.  It’s quite a sight to see grown adults struggle to eat tiny fruits and hilarious to see the consequences! The winner of the competition is the person who can stay in the game the longest! If you are mad enough for the challenge, please contact us.

Children's Entertainment
We have number of FREE activities available for the kids.  We have Punch & Judy, Magic Shows, Treasure Hunts, Balloon Modelling, Crazy Golf, Football and Circus Skills available.  There are paid for activities also such as mini fun fair rides, face painting, inflatables etc.  

Crazy Golf
Another FREE activity, why not test yourself against our very own Cheese & Chilli Crazy Golf Course.  Par 27!  Large and small putters available plus multicoloured balls so no cheating.

Punch & Judy
“A Classic Whodunit”
Punch & Judy is a classic show which the kids love.  It’s also a time to have 30 minutes or so to grab a drink etc and relax as we’ll take the strain. The show is a fun and interactive play which we all know and love.

Bubble Party
A moment for the kids to go crazy and chase all the bubbles! We have giant and little bubbles to make.  We even let the kids have a go at making some themselves.

Fun Fair Rides
DNG Events will be supplying us with some rides, but it is not yet confirmed which rides will be present.

Meet The Mascot
Come and meet our very own Cheese & Chilli Festival mascot (Kerry The Koala) who appears during the Bubble parties so come and say hi.

Falconry Display
XTreme Falconry display team will be offering a unique show flying their rare birds. From Hawks, Owls and Eagles, a show not to be missed.

Chilli Sauce Awards
Traders will also be competing in a Chilli Sauce Competition; there will be entries for mild, medium and hot sauces with festival goers invited to play judge.

Cooking Demonstrations
Cooking Demonstrations with a difference will provide some delicious inspiration for budding chefs, welcoming Chilli Olly and Chilli Pepper Perret alongside special guests for the occasion.

Live Music
Live music will provide a great backdrop during the festival, with performances from local bands in the dedicated stage area.

Retail Therapy
For those who enjoy a dose of retail therapy, there will be an array of Craft and Shopping Stalls selling everything from quality kitchenware and clothing to gifts.

Refreshments
For those who enjoy a tipple or two, The Beer Festival is the perfect place to indulge, with an excellent array of real ales along with wines, spirits and lagers too. The festival will also feature a fantastic inflatable pub not to mention the authentic cider bar.

With all this and more, there’s plenty to ensure everyone’s entertained.
