Glowing + Alive: Weave Together
Saturday 14th February 2026
10.00am and 11.30am
Families are invited to take part in special weaving workshops on Saturday 14 February 2026, as part of Chichester Cathedral's new major exhibition, Glowing + Alive, which uncovers the story behind the building's famous tapestry by John Piper.
With two sessions starting at 10am and 11.30am, these hands-on workshops will allow children to explore textiles, colour, and storytelling in a fun and creative way.
Each workshop will begin at the Piper tapestry, where children will learn about the artwork and draw inspiration from its imagery, textures, and colours. They will then have the chance to create their own woven bookmark, making a sustainable keepsake to treasure for years to come.
