The Weir is a play by Conor McPherson, an amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books, about a group of men in a rural Irish pub who swap spooky stories to impress a newcomer called Valerie from Dublin.
As the evening progresses, their tales of the supernatural become increasingly unsettling, and Valerie eventually reveals a deeply personal story of her own that profoundly shifts the mood and reveals truths about loss and grief.
Directed by Gill Lambourn
