Noah Enchev from Pulborough is raising money for local children to celebrate his ninth birthday.

N oah is hoping to run 30km throughout February, with the proceeds going to Chestnut Tree House.

He had the idea after taking part in an online football session with Albion in the Community.

He met a child who had a disability and was inspired by his football skill.

He said, "I was so impressed by his motivation and strong spirit, I felt very emotional after that.

"My mum saw me crying on the sofa."

After talking to his mum, Noah decided he wanted to help other children with illnesses and disabilities to have more time to do the activities they love and live happier lives.

He said, "I decided to support Chestnut Tree House because I would like to help the children and their families spend as much time together as possible.

"I hope that by running 30km in February I will be able to raise enough money to make this happen."

Noah has already raised £430 after running 19km and said he is grateful to everyone who has supported him so far.

Donations to Noah's birthday fundraiser can be made on his JustGiving page.
