Appeal for witnesses after serious assaults in Worthing

Police are appealing for witnesses after three men were taken to hospital following serious assaults in Worthing.

It happened outside the Molotov Cocktail Bar on Chatsworth Road in the early hours of Sunday morning, when violence broke out involving a group of men.

A 20-year-old was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and possessing a class A drug, he’s since been released, and issued with a community resolution for the drugs matter.

Officers are continuing to investigate, and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with relevant information who have not already spoken with the police to come forward.

In particular, anyone with CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone footage is asked to come forward.
