Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a vehicle being driven dangerously in Horsham on Thursday 26 March.
It was reported that at around 11.30am a dark blue 4x4 car was driven from Leith View Road north through the Roffey Playing Fields into Lockwood Close before travelling west on Lambs Farm Road, and later colliding with a pedestrian bridge near St Mary's Church, Causeway.
No injuries were reported.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, being the driver of a vehicle failing to stop after a road accident, driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs, and possession of a class A drug. He has been bailed whilst the enquiries are ongoing.
Officers are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry in an ongoing investigation.
