Two teenage boys have reported being stabbed in an alleyway in Littlehampton on Thursday night (26 March).
The 17-year-olds were assaulted after being approached by two men in an alleyway between Hampton Way and Kent Road at about 10pm.
They are being treated for their injuries.
The men were wearing black balaclavas and were dressed in black. One was about 5’ 6” and the other about 6’ 2”.
Detective Inspector Lee Simmonds said: “We are actively investigating this incident, which has left two boys injured and needing hospital treatment.
"We are urgently carrying local enquiries to identify what happened and the identity of those involved. The attackers left items at the scene and we are forensically examining these as part of our investigation."
