A man who stabbed two people near Storrington has been jailed for 15 years.
Thomas Hoe, 28, of Pulborough Road in Cootham, attacked a 30-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman he knew in January.
At Lewes Crown Court in July, he was found guilty of two counts of GBH with intent.
Hoe had already admitted carrying a knife in public at an earlier hearing.
Detective Constable Jules Shorrock said: “This was a particularly violent attack that will no doubt have a lasting emotional effect on both victims.
“We want to be clear: knife crime doesn’t pay. Offenders who choose to use knives will face the consequences of their actions, including long custodial sentences.
“Tackling knife crime is one of our key priorities and this conviction reflects our commitment to protecting the safety and well-being of our communities.”
