Arun District Council are urging local businesses to apply for their free rapid testing kit
The Government have expanded the rapid workplace testing to now be available to any business with more than 50 employees.
It comes as the government want to try and reduce the spread of coronavirus, as currently only people with symptoms can get a test through the local testing sites.
Currently, Arun has the highest new coronavirus infections in the whole of West Sussex with 462 new cases, from the seven days up until January 2. Meanwhile, their rolling rate is not the highest with 287.4 cases per 100,000.
Crawley has the highest rolling rate with 312.3 cases per 100,000.
The Government says you can register for the tests if:
- your business is registered in England
- you employ 50 people or more
- your employees cannot work from home
