A family in Seaford say they’re devastated after losing four pets in a house fire on Friday night.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue were called to Saltwood Road just after half past eleven to find the property well alight.
Natasha Andrews, her partner and their two daughters were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue say: "They were called at 23:41 to Saltwood Road, Seaford to a domestic dwelling fire.
"Four fire appliances from Seaford, Newhaven, Eastbourne and Pevensey, a control unit from Bexhill and an aerial ladder platform from Preston Circus were in attendance.
"Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one main jet to extinguish the fire.
"Firefighters assisted Ambulance service with the medical care of the residents affected by the fire."
