Take part in The Big Portsmouth Survey 2025

Residents in Portsmouth are being invited to have their say in The Big Portsmouth Survey 2025.

Residents in Portsmouth are being invited to have their say in The Big Portsmouth Survey 2025.

Open until Sunday, 14th of September, the city council says the annual survey is an opportunity for residents to share their views on local services, how the council spends its money, and share experiences around the rising cost of living.

Cllr Steve Pitt, Leader of Portsmouth City Council, said: “Our residents are at the centre of everything we do so it’s really important to take the opportunity to tell us what you think. The more responses we receive, the clearer the picture becomes for us to shape our resources and our budgets to support you and your family in the best way possible. Surveys are available in lots of different formats, so I encourage you to get involved.”

The survey is part of the council’s ongoing commitment to listening to residents and shaping services that reflect the community’s needs. Responses will help inform future decisions and ensure that council resources are directed where they matter most.

How to take part:

  • Online: Visit The Big Portsmouth Survey 7th Edition – the quickest and easiest way to participate.
  • By phone: Call 023 9261 6708 to complete the survey over the phone if you don’t have internet access.
  • In person: Pick up a paper copy at your local library, community centre, BH Live-run council leisure facility, or the Civic Offices reception.

The findings from this year’s survey will be compared with results from the past three years to track changes in public priorities and assess the impact of council services on residents’ lives. Previous survey results are available at yourcityyoursay.portsmouth.gov.uk
