A major summer music event has been confirmed for Chichester, with thousands of people expected to attend when the Back Then Festival arrives in the city later this year.
Tinchy Stryder and Toploader have been announced as headline acts for this year’s Back Then Festival, which celebrates some of the biggest names and sounds of the past few decades. Organisers say more well-known artists will be revealed in the coming weeks.
The one-day festival takes place on Friday the 8th of August at Westgate Fields, transforming the green space into a full-scale outdoor festival site. As well as live performances on the main stage, the event promises a packed programme designed to appeal to all ages.
Alongside the music, festival-goers will be able to sample food from around the world, with a wide range of street food stalls offering flavours from across the globe. There will also be a vintage funfair on site, featuring classic rides and traditional attractions, adding a nostalgic feel to the day.
Families are also being catered for, with a dedicated kids’ stage offering music, laughter and family-friendly entertainment throughout the event. Younger visitors will be able to enjoy activities including face painting, giving children plenty to do while parents take in the atmosphere.
An exclusive early-bird ticket offer has also been launched for V2 Radio listeners. Adult tickets Back Then Festival in Chichester (adult ticket) - V2 Vouchers are available at half price for £17.50, with child tickets Back Then Festival in Chichester (child ticket) - V2 Vouchers reduced to £10, available for a limited time via the V2 Vouchers website.
