Two people have been arrested after a fight in Uckfield on Saturday night.
Police were called to Civic Approach at around 11 o’clock, where several people were hurt and one was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of assault and later released on bail while enquiries continue.
Wealden District Commander Mark Evans said: “This was a serious incident that may have caused concern in the community. We want to reassure residents that swift action has been taken, and two arrests have already been made as part of this investigation”.
