Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Littlehampton this morning (29/11/2025).
The incident happened at around 10.15am in Surrey Street, where a grey Kia reportedly rammed an unmarked police vehicle – a blue BMW – before speeding away from the scene.
The Kia was then seen driving across a pedestrian crossing and into the pedestrianised High Street. Families were in the area at the time, and several people were forced to jump clear to avoid being hit.
Officers are now urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from the area, to come forward.
Police are also asking the public to report any sightings of the grey Kia, particularly if it appears to have been abandoned.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or contact police online, quoting serial 392 of 29/11.
