Two dogs die in agriculture fire in Bignor

West Sussex Fire and Rescue have been dealing with a blaze at a agricultural building and shed on Bignor Park Road since 5am this morning.

Crews from Billingshurst, Chichester, Littlehampton, Midhurst and Petworth have been in attendance.

Shortly after 5.30am the Fire Service tweeted to say the incident was being scaled down.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue are urging local residents to avoid the area and keep windows shut.

Although there are no human casualties, West Sussex Fire and Rescue say sadly two dogs have died as a result of this morning’s incident.
