Spring Live! is set to return to West Sussex later this month, promising a packed weekend celebrating the countryside and the arrival of the new season.
The two-day event, organised by the South of England Agricultural Society, will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th April at the South of England Showground in Ardingly. Running from 9am to 5pm each day, the popular show offers a wide range of activities, entertainment and hands-on experiences for all ages.
New for 2026 is the RPM Biketrials Display, which will headline the event with four high-energy performances each day, showcasing impressive stunt riding skills. Visitors can also enjoy classic and sports car rides with the Sporting Bears, raising money for the Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity, while lawnmower racing returns with teams competing for podium places.
A firm favourite is the animal barn, featuring Sussex cattle, Hampshire Down sheep and Tamworth pigs, alongside the Pygmy Goat Show and South of England Alpaca Show. Visitors can also see the Watermill Wolves and get up close to reptiles with the Hampshire Reptile Trust.
There’s plenty for younger visitors too, including circus skills workshops, chocolate making, fairground rides and donkey rides. The Countryside Hub will host the Fluffy Duck Trail and a chance to try milking a model cow.
Outdoor activities include archery, axe throwing and bushcraft, while the main ring will feature kite displays and wood carving demonstrations.
Dog lovers can enjoy agility displays and a fun dog show, while the horticulture area highlights plants, flowers and vintage machinery.
Visitors can also browse artisan food, crafts and plants, with plenty of options to relax and enjoy the atmosphere across the showground.
