Woman who died in collision near Binderton formally identified

A woman who died in a single vehicle collision in Binderton, near West Dean, has been formally identified.

18-year-old Ella Finley, from Westbourne, Emsworth, was driving her white Vauxhall Corsa southbound on the A286 Chilgrove Road when it collided with a garden wall around 11.15 pm on Sunday, 3 August.

She sadly passed away at the scene; specialist officers have supported her next of kin.

Police are still urging anyone who saw what happened or captured any relevant dash cam, CCTV or mobile footage to get in touch with them, either by calling 101 or emailing collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk quoting Operation Parham.
