Firefighters in Hampshire have tackled a blaze in woodland in Headley.
It’s thought the fire affected around 3 hectares of heathland just off Hammer Lane on Monday at around 6:30 in the evening.
Firefighters had to use several off-road vehicles to reach the scene.
On Tuesday 28/04/2026, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue said: "The fire has now been extinguished.
"Crews remain on scene carrying out damping-down operations and are expected to return to their stations shortly.
"Follow-up inspections are scheduled for this evening and again tomorrow morning to check for any remaining hotspots."
