By Philip Keeler

This Halloween, join V2 Radio News Editor Philip Keeler for a chilling special edition of The Newsroom, as we uncover four of the South of England's most mysterious and spine-tingling ghost stories.

Forget the usual headlines! We're stepping into the shadows of history, exploring haunted buildings, unexplained encounters and terrifying legends passed down through generations.

Our ghostly journey begins in Hampshire at Hinton Ampner, where mysterious screams, footsteps and strange voices reportedly terrified a family more than 250 years ago.

We then cross to the Isle of Wight, where legend claims the long-lost mansion of Knighton Gorges mysteriously reappears on New Year's Eve.

In West Sussex, we uncover the tragic tale of the Woman in White at Arundel Castle, before heading to East Sussex to investigate the mysterious Grey Lady of Michelham Priory.

With atmospheric sound effects, haunting storytelling and a few unexpected surprises, Philip brings these legendary tales to life.

But are these stories simply centuries-old folklore, or could something unexplained really be lurking in the darkness?

Turn down the lights, put on your headphones and prepare for a Halloween journey into the unknown.
