Police in Brighton say 37 people were arrested in the city last weekend for a range of offences including common assault, actual bodily harm, criminal damage and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
The arrests were made as officers dealt with incidents across the city over the course of the weekend.
Sussex Police say the results highlight the importance of information from the public in helping officers respond to crime and make arrests.
The force says reports from witnesses, victims and members of the public continue to play a vital role in supporting investigations and enabling officers to take action quickly.
Officers are now urging people to continue reporting crime, suspicious behaviour and any information which may help police enquiries.
Reports can be made by calling 101 or by using Sussex Police’s online reporting form.
In an emergency, or if a crime is in progress, people should always call 999.
