One person has been rescued after a fire at a home in Rustington.
Crews were called to Ashwood Drive at around 10:30 yesterday morning.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service say the casualty was handed over to paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service.
An investigation is now underway into the cause of the blaze.
A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said: "At 10.25am we were alerted to a fire at Ashwood Drive in Rustington which has now been extinguished.
"Firefighters rescued one person from the property who was left in the care of crews from South East Coast Ambulance Service.
"Crews left the scene at 1.19pm. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.”
