Police are investigating a fatal road traffic collision involving a single vehicle on the B2099 High Street in Ticehurst.
The collision is believed to have occurred between 9.15pm and 9.25pm on Saturday, 25 April, outside The Priory Ticehurst House, between Wadhurst and Ticehurst.
A red Mazda RX-8 coupe was travelling eastbound towards Ticehurst village when the car left the road and crashed.
The driver, a 33-year-old man from Bexhill-on-Sea, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage of the vehicle being driven in the area prior to the incident to come forward.
