A pedestrian involved in a road traffic collision in Hastings has since sadly died.
The incident occurred in Bohemia Road around 5.05pm on Sunday 18 January.
Jamie George Lee, 47, of no fixed address, was taken to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries on Wednesday 4 February.
The driver of a grey Mazda 3, a 73-year-old man from Hastings, remains on bail as the investigation continues.
In the meantime, police are urging anyone with information or any relevant dash cam, mobile or CCTV footage, to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk quoting Operation Cloister.
