West Sussex Fire and Rescue have been called out after a power outage.
The power cut affected V2 Radio for a short time; two fire engines have been called out, and they are on the road outside the radio station.
Ros, a listener to V2 Radio who was driving along Drayton Lane at the time, heard a "loud bang and huge sparks from a transformer on a pole and telephoned the fire service straight away!"
A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said: “We were called at 1.33pm to reports of an electrical pole fire in Drayton Lane, Oving.
“Joint Fire Control mobilised two fire engines to the scene.
"Upon arrival, crews carried out a search of the area and found no signs of fire.
“Crews left the scene at 2.20pm.”
