More acts have been confirmed for this year’s Back Then Festival, as organisers continue to build anticipation for one of Chichester’s biggest summer music events.
Indie favourites The Holloways are the latest addition to the line-up. Best known for tracks including Generator and Two Left Feet, the band rose to prominence in the mid-2000s and are expected to bring a strong dose of nostalgia to the festival’s stage.
They join an already crowd-pleasing bill featuring Top Loader, whose hits include Dancing in the Moonlight, and rapper Tinchy Stryder, a chart regular during the late 2000s and early 2010s. Organisers say the mix of indie, pop and hip-hop reflects the festival’s aim of celebrating music from the past two decades.
The one-day festival takes place on Friday the 8th of August at Westgate Fields, transforming the green space into a major outdoor live music venue for the day.
Further acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, with tickets already on sale. Organisers are encouraging festival-goers to book early.
