The family of a woman who died following an assault in Bitterne have paid tribute to her.
The family of a woman who died following an assault in Bitterne have paid tribute to her.
Lisa-Marie Hopkins, who was 34 and from Harcourt Road in Southampton, was found at her home with a serious head injury on the 29th of December 2025.
She was taken to hospital but died on the 4th of January 2026.
Paying tribute to her, her family said:
“Lisa-Marie was a beautiful soul and full of life, with great determination. She would always help others, no matter what she was going through.
“Lisa-Marie was a kind and caring daughter who also loved her children so much. She is sadly missed.”
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police say, as part of an investigation led by our Major Crime Team, they have previously charged a man with attempted murder, and that they will share further updates in due course.
