Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was injured in a reported stabbing in Worthing.
Police were called to Shelley Road, at its junction with Salisbury Road, at around 1.10am on Tuesday, 11 August.
A 37-year-old man was injured and taken to hospital. No further information has been released about his condition.
Sussex Police said an increased police presence would remain in the area while officers carried out enquiries and provided reassurance to the community.

Detective Inspector Lee Simmonds said: “We are investigating a report of a stabbing in Worthing in the early hours of this morning.
“The suspect was described as a slim black man wearing a brown T-shirt and jeans.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area while we carry out enquiries and to provide reassurance.
“We are appealing for anyone who saw what happened or who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time to come forward. This includes anyone with CCTV, dashcam, doorbell or mobile phone footage.
“Information can be reported to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 76 of 11/08.”
