A drug dealer described as a significant supplier of cocaine and cannabis across West Sussex has been jailed for ten years.
Leon Peace, 55, of Anson Road, Aldwick, was found with more than a kilogram of cocaine and nearly two kilograms of cannabis following an investigation by officers from the Tactical Enforcement Unit and Community Investigation Team.
Police said the block of cocaine alone had an estimated street value of £100,000.

Officers also discovered thousands of pounds in cash during searches of addresses linked to Peace, along with a large wholesale quantity of cannabis.
Peace was also found in possession of a handgun, ammunition, a knife and a spike.
He had been arrested in June after police linked him to drug dealing across West Sussex, where he was said to have acted as a wholesale supplier providing cocaine and cannabis to other dealers.

At Lewes Crown Court on 12 August, Peace admitted possessing cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply, possession of a firearm and ammunition without a valid certificate, acquiring, using or possessing criminal property, possession of a bladed article and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was sentenced to ten years in prison.
Detective Superintendent Colin Garman said: “Leon Peace acted as an upstream supplier to drug dealers operating in West Sussex. He was found in possession of potentially dangerous weapons.
“This case demonstrates our determination to disrupt the supply of drugs which cause so much harm in our communities, and to catch the organised criminals who bring associated crime, anti-social behaviour and violence onto our streets.
“Peace was a significant player in this drugs operation. Thanks to officers from our Community Investigations Team we have taken out a drug supply network with offenders now serving significant prison sentences.”
