Plans to change the use of a car show room to a flight training centre have been approved by Crawley Borough Council.
The application from TJ Aviation Ltd, for the former Caterham Cars site in the Dialog industrial park, on Fleming Way, was given the nod by the planning committee on Tuesday (April 21).
Work on the development has started, with the ground-floor office already in use. It will include the building of a plant building to the rear of the site, with an external staircase, first floor mezzanine, and an enlarged roller shutter door. There will be parking for 41 vehicles.
To view the application, log on to planningregister.crawley.gov.uk and search for CR/2025/0459/FUL.
