Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a 14-year-old boy died following a collision involving a bus in Portsmouth.
Police were called to The Hard at around 4.25pm on Monday, 17 August, following reports of a serious collision involving a pedestrian and a bus.
The pedestrian, a 14-year-old boy from Portsmouth, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police have now confirmed that he has since died.
His family are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the bus, a 39-year-old man from Portsmouth, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He was later released on bail until 17 November while police enquiries continue.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are asking anyone who witnessed what happened to come forward.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage.
