Witnesses sought to attack on woman in Hastings

Police in Hastings are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in the early hours of the morning.

The victim, a 41-year-old local woman, was walking in Havelock Road, around 4 am on 5 July when she was attacked by a group of three people.

She attended hospital where she was treated for facial injuries.

Police say they understand there were a number of people in the area, close to the taxi rank, when the incident occurred, and they're urging anyone who saw what happened, or anyone who captured any relevant footage, to contact them, quoting crime reference 47260159775.
