Detectives in Hampshire have made an arrest in connection with the 1989 murder of Ricky Haywood.
Hampshire Police say, Richard Haywood, known to many as Ricky, was 36-years-old when he was shot multiple times in his flat above Ambiance Jewellers on Shirley Road, Southampton on 16 October 1989.
On Tuesday, 14 July a 55-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
As the police investigation continues officers are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward. No matter how small or insignificant it may seem.
