Firefighters were called to a car fire in Oving yesterday morning.
West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said crews were alerted at 9.50am to reports of a vehicle fire on Drayton Lane.
Joint Fire Control sent one fire engine from Chichester to the scene.
When firefighters arrived, they found one car fully involved in the fire.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to safely extinguish the blaze and bring the incident under control.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said: “At 9.50am we responded to a car fire at Drayton Lane in Oving.
“Joint Fire Control sent one fire engine from Chichester to the scene.
“Upon arrival crews found one car fully involved in the fire.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to safely extinguish the fire.
“Fortunately, there were no casualties, and fire crews have now left the scene.”
