Firefighters have been tackling a grass fire on an embankment beside the skate park at Bersted Park, near Bognor Regis, this afternoon.
Two fire engines were at the scene close to Bersted Park Community Centre in Lakeland Avenue on Sunday afternoon, with crews working to extinguish the fire on the grass embankment.
The blaze was close to the skate park and community facilities, although there is currently no confirmed information about the cause of the fire or the size of the area affected.

West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service has been approached for further details.
The incident comes after repeated warnings from the fire service about the exceptionally dry condition of grassland and other open spaces across West Sussex following prolonged spells of warm and dry weather this summer.
The Met Office forecast for Bognor Regis on Sunday was for sunny conditions, temperatures reaching around 21C and very little chance of rain during the afternoon.
