Police have renewed an appeal to identify a man who was found dead in a wooded area in Southampton more than two years ago.
The man, believed to have been about 60 years old, was discovered in undergrowth off the A35, near the junction with Burgess Road, on 19 April 2024.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Despite extensive inquiries, Hampshire Police have been unable to establish his identity.
The force has now released an e-fit image in the hope that someone may recognise him.
The man is described as white, of slim build and about 5ft 8in tall, with short grey-white hair and a long grey beard. He was wearing a red hoodie over a dark T-shirt.
Police believe he used a walking stick, which was found with his belongings.
Hampshire Police said the death is not believed to be suspicious.
Officers previously released details of distinctive tattoos on the man's body, including a skull wearing a top hat, a phoenix, and a flower alongside a heart wrapped in a ribbon.
Investigators have also worked with homeless shelters, Street Pastors and neighbouring police forces in efforts to identify him.
Anyone who recognises the man or has information that could help the investigation is urged to contact Hampshire Police.
