Supercars will take to the Goodwood Motor Circuit as a free family event raises money to provide beds for children in need.
The Saywell International Track Day will be held on Saturday 8 August from 9am until 4pm, giving visitors the opportunity to see a collection of high-performance cars up close.
The event is free to attend, with complimentary parking available at the circuit near Chichester. Organisers say the day will offer entertainment for the whole family while supporting the Beds4Kids fundraising campaign.
Beds4Kids was launched locally by V2 Radio last year to help children who, for a variety of circumstances, do not have a bed of their own to sleep in.
Money raised through the campaign is used to buy beds for families experiencing difficult circumstances.
Through V2 Radio’s partnership with the Rotary Club of Chichester Harbour and its links with local social services, the campaign has already been able to support a number of families across the area.
Saywell International is sponsoring the track day. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Beds4Kids to help meet the continuing demand for assistance.
The event will give motoring enthusiasts and families the chance to enjoy the sights and sounds of supercars at one of the country’s best-known motor racing venues.
Visitors will be able to get close to the vehicles throughout the day, while also learning more about the Beds4Kids campaign and the work being carried out to support local children and their families.
Organisers hope the event will raise further funds to ensure more children have access to a safe and comfortable place to sleep.
The Saywell International Track Day is being organised by Saywell International, V2 Radio and the Rotary Club of Chichester Harbour.
It takes place at Goodwood Motor Circuit from 9am until 5pm on Saturday 8 August.
