East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is looking for new on-call firefighters to join its team in Burwash.
The service is inviting people who are interested in the role to meet crews and find out more about what being an on-call firefighter involves.
Firefighters will be at the Swan Meadow Fete in Burwash on Sunday, 30 August, where members of the public will be able to ask questions about the role and the recruitment process.
Further recruitment sessions will also be held at Burwash Fire Station in Rosemary Gardens.
People interested in joining can visit the station at 7pm on Tuesday, 1 September, or Monday, 7 September.
On-call firefighters respond to emergencies from their local station while continuing with their normal jobs or other commitments.
They provide cover when they are available and can be called to a wide range of incidents, including fires, road traffic collisions and other emergencies.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is encouraging anyone in the Burwash area who is interested in serving their local community to attend one of the upcoming sessions and find out more.
