Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a cyclist was seriously injured in a collision in Cosham.
The incident happened on Wootton Street, at its junction with Wayte Street, between 11.15am and 11.25am on Friday, 7 August.
It involved a silver Jaguar XF and an electrically-assisted pedal cycle.
Police said the cyclist suffered a serious foot injury after the driver allegedly attempted to pass him and ran over his foot.
A 46-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving. He has since been released under investigation while further enquiries continue.
Officers investigating the collision want to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened, particularly motorists with relevant dashcam footage.
