Sussex Police has now concluded its operation surrounding the 2026 celebrations.
Large crowds attended the Pride Community Parade, Pride on the Park at Preston Park and the Pride Street Party.
This year marked Brighton Pride’s 35th anniversary, with the community parade taking place under the theme “The Power of Love”.
Police said the vast majority of people enjoyed the weekend safely, with officers deployed across Brighton and Hove alongside emergency services, council teams, event organisers and other partner agencies.
A total of 25 arrests were made during the policing operation.
The most common suspected offences included eight arrests for being drunk and disorderly and six for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Six people were arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm, while four arrests were made on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
The figures released by police cover arrests rather than convictions, and investigations into individual incidents may remain ongoing.
Officers also carried out warrants ahead of Pride weekend as part of efforts to disrupt suspected drug supply networks and target drug-related offending.
Chief Superintendent James Collis thanked those who attended and helped make the weekend a success.
He said an operation of such scale required months of planning and close co-operation between police officers, staff, volunteers, partner agencies and event organisers.
He added that officers continued responding to incidents and carrying out policing across the city throughout the weekend.
Sussex Police said Brighton and Hove Pride remained an important celebration of the city’s LGBTQ+ communities and that it was committed to helping keep the event safe, welcoming and inclusive.
