A water supply problem is causing disruption at London Gatwick, with both airport terminals affected.

The issue is currently being investigated by SES Water, although flights are continuing to operate as normal.

Some toilets in the North Terminal have been closed because of the supply problem, while the majority of facilities in the South Terminal remain unaffected.

Food and drink outlets in the North Terminal are expected to remain open for passengers to use as seating areas.

A London Gatwick spokesperson said: “A water issue is causing some disruption in the local area. The problem is affecting water supply in both terminals and is currently under investigation by SES Water.

“At present, there has been no impact on flights. We will provide further updates and apologise for any inconvenience to passengers.”

Passengers are being advised that flight operations are continuing as normal while work to resolve the water supply issue continues.
