Television presenter and business turnaround expert Alex Polizzi is coming to the University of Chichester as headline speaker at a major new event for the Sussex business community.
Polizzi, best known to millions as The Hotel Inspector, will appear at Back to Business, sponsored by Chichester District Council, an event organised by Chichester Chamber of Commerce and hosted by the University of Chichester.
The event will take place on Friday, 11 September 2026, running from 8.30am to 5pm.
Back to Business is being launched as a new annual event for businesses in Chichester and across the wider region. It is aimed at companies of all sizes, from ambitious start-ups to established firms looking to grow, adapt and strengthen their operations.
Inspired by the back-to-school season, organisers say the event is designed to help business owners and leaders regain momentum as people return to the room, plans take shape and priorities sharpen again.
The day will feature a mix of insight, practical support and networking opportunities, with a focus on growth and stability for Sussex businesses.
Alex Polizzi will share her experience of transforming struggling hospitality businesses into successful enterprises. With decades of hands-on experience, she is expected to bring commercial insight, honesty and real-world expertise to the stage.
Organisers say those attending will be able to take away lessons they can apply directly to their own businesses.
The programme will also include panel discussions, practical workshops and exhibitions. There will be 20 hands-on workshops across six Growth Zones, covering areas designed to help businesses get back into gear.
Networking will form a key part of the day, giving businesses the chance to make useful connections, share ideas and start new conversations.
The event will finish with an after party, marking the start of the new business season.
