Police in Bognor Regis are searching for 37-year-old Danny Hunter.
Officers want to speak to him in connection with a serious assault on a 40-year-old man in the town on Monday.
Danny is described as 5 foot 6, with short dark brown hair.
Anyone who has seen him, or knows where he is, is being asked to call 999.
He is of no fixed address but has links to Bognor.
Members of the public are urged not to approach him. Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is asked to dial 999 immediately, quoting crime reference 1454 of 22/06
